Aishwarya Rai Bachchan gave birth to a healthy baby girl on Wednesday, November 16, 2011, at Seven Hills Hospital, Marol, Mumbai.
Amitabh Bachchan proudly tweeted, “I AM DADA to the cutest baby girl ! Aishwarya delivered a healthy baby girl today. "
The happy father, Abhishek Bachchan also tweeted, "IT'S A GIRL!!!!!! :-)))))".
Aishwarya’s father-in-law had tweeted earlier in the day, “and as i write, there is still no news from Aishwarya … your wishes and prayers with us ... thank you.”
It was earlier being speculated that Aishwarya will deliver on November 11, 2011. In fact, the Bachchan family even began getting congratulatory messages on Aishwarya delivering a baby boy on 11.11.11. Big B then tweeted, “Getting congratulatory messages on Aishwarya delivering a boy!!! Guess they know more than even she does!! False and incorrect news.
